This wood fired tumbler was one of a few that sat in the front of the kiln. We fire here at the pottery once a year, and if we’re lucky, twice. I often avoid putting my work in the front of the kiln because I find I gravitate to a more subtle aesthetic. However, these beakers did not disappoint!
They are lined with an interior glaze and unglazed on the outside. These shapes are my go-to water glasses standing at 6 inches tall they sure perfect hydration. They also make for great beer beakers or a quick side-table vase for cut flowers.
